“A woman should be two things; who and what she wants to be.” Someone rightly said.
In the 21st century, there are no such words as “female jobs” or “jobs for girls/women”. The women of India and the world are now getting out of their houses and creating history by making a mark for themselves. Women stand shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts when it comes to career growth and choosing the right path. Today, a huge number of women are making a mark by working at high posts in different professions.
Each woman has a right to fulfill her dreams. Women have now earned a tag of “an equal earning member” of the family. A woman is a multi-tasker who takes care of her job duties along with the household chores. As the economy is now flourishing in India, women have found several avenues to leverage their creativity, career goals, dreams, and passions. If a woman is financially stable, she can handle her expenses independently and need not expect her partner to give money.
Even after marriage and maternity, women are keen to pursue their careers. According to the surveys and sources, only 1 female can work on a full-time basis out of 7 college graduate females. In India, females are quite confused about choosing a profession when they are at an early stage of their higher education.
EDUCATION IS MOST IMPORTANT FOR WOMEN:
We all know that education is the key to a successful career. The more educated you are, the more successful you become by working hard. To be in your dream career, you have to choose your education. Even if you are not much educated, you still have job options to choose from.
To decide how far you can and are willing to go, is the most essential thing. If you have been out of the workforce for a while, you have to brush up on your skills again before you join again.
Earning money allows a woman to be determined and independent which further makes her a better human being. It gives her a sense of self-identity which is an achievement in itself. Identifying yourself is very important as there is a life beyond maternity and household chores. Willingness to live life with passion along with handling the household duties is the beauty of a real woman. A woman is “A hero with an invisible cap.” She must work in her desired field to live a satisfied and happy life.
As they say, “Beauty begins the moment one decides to be oneself.”
Now, let’s have a look at some of my friends/relatives who are strong ladies and achieved a happy, successful life while excelling in their professions.
In India, a Teacher is said to be our ‘first Guru’. Since ages, Teaching has been the top-most career choice for Indian women. Traditionally, this profession has been tagged as ‘Best Female Job’ in India. Till now, it proves to be one of the best professions for females.
Divneet Kaur Sammy (Divneet Bhabhi) has been into the teaching profession for many years now. Belonging to a well-established Sikh family, she is happily married to a Senior Operations Professional (I call him PP Veer Ji). Also, she is a mother to a cute little princess. Settled in the capital (Delhi), she teaches in a reputed school. She is a beautiful person with a golden heart. Teaching little kids and taking care of them is what she is best at. Along with her job, she also manages her family well. Taking care of her daughter, teaching and helping her with her homework, she proves to be a “Super Mom”, “Super Wife” and “Super Teacher”.
2. HUMAN RESOURCE (HR) PROFESSIONAL
HR (Human Resource) department is a great career path and the best option for females who want to join the corporate world. It requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Being into this field for more than 7 years, she has been handling the HR Shared Services division and working with a leading UK based MNC, handling a team of more than 8 people. She is so good at her work that you would never feel work pressure, as she distributes the work among the team members so well. While I was in the process and working in the UK division, she was the one who helped and guided me in every possible way. She spent a wonderful time as we used to go on tea breaks and discuss work and life. A former model and HR Professional, Tanu is a very strong and independent woman who has worked hard to achieve the position of a Manager and is an ideal one.

Nitya, is a freelance Digital marketer and excels in Content Writing, Social Media Marketing (SMM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and other branches of Digital Marketing. Originated in ancient India, Yoga is a physical, spiritual, and mental exercise. This practice has been thought to date back to the pre-Vedic traditions of India. Now, Yoga is practiced not only in India, but in several parts of the world. As the people are very conscious about their health and fitness, many Yoga Teachers are coming forward to serve the people.
Nicky Create (a lovely Australian friend) is passionate about Yoga and imparts its benefits to others. Nicky, a young pretty girl from Adelaide, is a professional Yoga Teacher and an Artist too. I know her for just a few months but it feels like we’ve been connected for ages.
It was January 30, 2020 when I boarded Amritsar Shatabdi from New Delhi and she sat next to me. Gradually we started talking and discussed many things. As she was on her way to Amritsar, I was curious to make her familiar with Punjab and the Punjabi culture. Her respect for Punjab and India made me overwhelmed. When I told her about my HR profession and writing passion, she gave me a “Talented Girl” tag and wanted to read all my articles. We bonded well in just a 5-hour train journey and I am going to cherish this relationship all my life.
